My husband is very interested in surveillance cameras. He plans on installing a set as soon as our budget will allow. No advice on what camera system to use. Just wanted to tell you I think it's a great idea. Our across the street neighbors have had problems with graffiti and they installed automatic lights and haven't had a problem since.
Other neighbors put in a simple camera on their front porch and swear by it.
Seems worth the investment to me.
